The Vibe story
It started with a list
In 2026 a handwritten poster went around engineering circles. Red marker on white paper, one question at the top: "Who's gonna tell vibe coders about...", followed by 111 things. Rate limiting. Idempotency. Row-level security. Rollbacks. Postmortems.
It was a joke. It was also the most accurate job description written that year.
AI made building effortless. Anyone with an idea can now describe an app and watch it appear. That is a genuine revolution, and we love it. But production did not get any more forgiving. Real users still click twice. Attackers still change the ID in the URL. Payment providers still retry webhooks. Regulators still ask for the audit trail.
The gap between it works on my laptop and it survives the real world is exactly 111 items long. Most people building with AI have never been told what they are.
Vibe is the one who tells you
Vibe is an engineering school for the AI era. We are the senior engineer with the red pen: we circle the problem early, kindly and specifically, before your users, an attacker or a regulator finds it for you.
We do not teach people to type code. The AI does that. We teach people to direct, verify and operate what the AI writes, to the standard a bank, an insurer or a government agency would accept.
Keep the vibe. Add the proof.
The vibe is real. Speed, creativity and momentum are why building with AI feels like magic, and we never want to kill that. What we add is proof: the tests, the scans, the restore logs and the audit trail that turn a confident demo into a system people can trust with their money and their data.
Our whole method fits in four words: Learn. Build. Break. Prove.
What we believe
Verify, then trust. An AI will tell you it is done and that every test passes. Our standard is evidence: the test output, the scan report, the restore log. No evidence, no pass.
Circle problems, not people. The red pen is for the code. Every learner who finds a bug in their own work is doing exactly what professionals do. We teach without condescension and review without blame.
Built for the real world. Our curriculum follows the standards enterprises actually use: OWASP, DORA, SRE practice, Singapore's PDPA and the IMDA Model AI Governance Framework for Agentic AI. If it would not pass a security review, it does not pass Vibe.
Small steps, shipped often. Big rewrites fail. Small, tested, reversible changes win. We teach the same way: one module, one lab, one proven skill at a time.
Who we are for
Founders taking their first real money. Product people who now build. Engineers whose job is becoming reviewing AI output more than writing code. And enterprises rolling out AI coding tools that need a shared standard for production ready.
Where we come from
Vibe is built in Singapore by Jayren Teo, a founder who builds fintech and AI agents with AI himself, and who learned many of the 111 items the hard way. Singapore sits where global standards meet fast-moving markets, so Vibe is designed to be global from day one: multilingual, standards-based and practical.
Vibe is part of the JayrenAI family of ventures.
